Hello there, I am Gleip (known in saner circles as Zachery Taylor), a 22 year old writer and general lover of knowledge. I find that the best way to learn is through thoughtful debate, and so I hope to generate some of that with my blog.

I was born and raised in Florida, spending my early years in the projects and trailer parks of Jacksonville, and my teenage years in a heavily wooded secluded home in the rural town of Keystone Heights. The disparity of the two has given me some insight, and a great deal of curiosity, into how environments shape opinions. So I seek out as many perspectives as I can.

I have no political stance, though I was a libertarian for some time in high school. Mostly due to Mrs.Rand’s novels. I am and always have been (in memory) an agnostic. I have my issues with organized religion, but I think all religions contain wisdom that the world sorely needs.
